Permitting Services

Environmental Land Surveying & Solutions' permitting division completes all project-required permits and works closely with the engineering & land surveying divisions to ensure that various local, state and federal standards and regulations are met. The permitting staff strives to develop professional relationships with various governmental agencies in order to maintain a consistent permitting process. ELSS uses existing databases to retrieve information regarding local ordinances, historic inventories, rare, threatened and endangered species studies, flood plain designations and wetland inventories to answer initial concerns for permitting projects and land use analysis. This division can also provide clients with environmental assessments, wetland delineations and pre-mine/pre-drill surveys.

Because of the relationship between permit generation and mapping, ELSS's permitting division also handles various GIS responsibilities. ELSS routinely takes data, both collected and available, and connects it to the client's project electronically and in a comprehensible format. Clients can be provided with this connected data prior to the commencement of their project, often times avoiding potential time-delaying issues.
